We are ready for the fun!
Hi,
You know the expression: "All our ducks are in order". The home study is successfully completed. The adoption workshops have been fun and continue to keep us busy. The nursery art awaits the little one in her or his hip artistic room. We could not be more prepared. Our support network is growing. If you have been on the adoption journey, do fill us in on your experience. We are working with Family Resource Center in Chicago, a licensed non-profit child-placing agency which is Hague accredited. It is an awesome responsibility for a birth mother to pick the adoptive parents and we support that process! We value and respect the courage of birth mothers in making such a difficult choice. If you are a birth mother, please feel free to contact our agency and mention our names (see contact details below). Likewise, if you know teachers, counselors, ministers, youth workers, rabbi's or anyone who is in need, wishing to make an adoption plan, please contact our agency, Family Resource Center in Chicago and mention our names, Leslie and Joe, a multicultural "Rainbow Family."
